Running a Meeting

You and your fellow students have busy schedules, so reserve meetings for times when you have specific goals, outcomes, or activities you need to accomplish. Meetings with clear objectives generally result in more engaged members—and that's your goal!

To help with planning, sit down with your chapter advisor and leadership team at the beginning of the academic year and map out the key activities or milestones your chapter wants to hit. Once you've established your goals, develop a schedule of meaningful chapter meetings for the semester or year.
